I'm up to take the Management Information Systems DSST soon. I've studied the the Peterson's exam on the website and everything on IC. Any suggestions on other materials? Comments? Advice? Thanks

One of my last steps in preparing for exams was to make a checklist of the specific exam feedback thread, even if I have already been over it during my studies. The mental exercise of writing down the items in that thread in my own words helped me make sure I really had a handle on them and on the subject vocabulary. Taking the quizzes on the websites of the recommended textbooks, and studying the answers is also helpful. Even if you have not read the book. Use the exam outline from DSST to see what to focus on.
Not sure this applies to you, but if this makes sense it's more a business exam than a computers exam per se. So for technical people I recall I thought the business jargon and ideas like "strategic use of information systems" might be harder to to keep straight than the technical details like "what is token-ring" would be for a business person. This is based in part on my experience taking business classes with and managing technical people. Some of this business-oriented stuff is covered in the study guide I link to in my feedback. Someone will doubtless follow my post with a comment about how easy the exam is, and it was for me, but I took it after taking 6 IT classes. Easy is in the eye of the beholder ![]() Phillip
