So I've never posted here before but I've done some lurking and I know you guys have some really good rational advice. My issue is I have two clep exams that I am scheduled for next Tuesday (Principles of Marketing) and next Thursday (HR Management) and I am not sure how I should break up this week studying for it. I have to pass these two exams to graduate in May and this was the last date so I don't get any re-do's making me just that much more nervous. I've been going over little by little the Principles of Marketing study guide on here and now I'm just focusing on really understanding it. Problem is I now have to fit in HR Management (DSST) studying in too because I have that exam only 2 days after the first. To all you experts that have a lot of passed exams under your belt what would you suggest? Thank you so much in advance.

I would suggest buying the REA book for marketing and reading it cover to cover starting right now. It will take you about 8-9 hours to complete. Then do the practice tests and study the problems you get wrong. After that, start studying HR mgmt and I would consider reading the recommended book for this test. I didn't take it but go to the DSST site and purchase the book they recommend.
Also, try and take Friday and Monday off of work so that you can spend 4 straight days studying these topics.
Do not think you can study 2 hours per day for 5 days and pass 2 college level courses. It will take more time than that but you can do it if you spend the time.

I'm not saying this is the only way you should study, but what I like to do is read an old version of the CLEP Official Study Guide and make sure I'm familiar with every term and concept mentioned in that book - since anything that sample test mentions might show up on the real test, sometimes ad verbatim. This method, along with supplementing some of the other aids available, sure worked for me when I took this test.
Course clear! You got a card.
