TESU updated evaluation posted need help
#1
I just received my updated TESU evaluation, can some one please look at it and explain me why they did not assign Principles of Supervision and moved to OTHER? can I use it as electives and why Advertising is moved in OTHER too? Also please help me plan the classes to fill in the gap.

Following is completed but I haven't sent the transcripts to TESU yet so they are not included:

ECE Organizational Behavior
PF Strategic Management (3/15)
PF International Management (3/15)

I am planning for the following next:
SL Intro to Communication
Managerial Communication
Penn Foster Acct I
Penn Foster Acct II
Penn Foster Consumer Behavior - only if I can use it
ECE Labor Relations

I couldn't copy and paste due to long evaluation so it is attached here with.

I feel like I am close and can see a light at the end of the tunnel - unless it's a train..lol.

You don't have any elective spots open to move this to. Both your in-area electives are full (when including your in-progress Operations Management course), your free electives are full, and this wouldn't count as a general elective. It's in Other because there's no free spot for it, everything else it could be used in has already been filled.

I think you're right, I don't see a place where it will fit. As far as I know it won't fulfill any the General Ed elective requirement, but you might want to wait until someone else more familiar with the bus. admin degrees chimes in.

For Supervision, it's a Free Elective, and it's already filled. There's just nowhere else for it to go.

Organizational Behavior doesn't have anywhere to go in the Business section, as the MAN category is full at this point. But make sure they put it in GenEd as a PSY course.

For Advertising, it's a MAR course, and you already have 1 MAR and 4 MAN courses. You should ask for Public Relations to be moved to GenEd since it's a COM course. Then Advertising can move to it's spot. You now need one course in either FIN or ACC.

MAR
-Public Relations (move to GenEd)
+Advertising (UL) (move from Other)

MAN
MIS (UL)
HRM (UL)
Industrial Mgmt
Ops Mgmt (UL)

ACC or FIN
any course

PF International Management isn't on ACE, although International Business is. I hope that's the same course? If so, it will fit into the core area. Always make sure PF courses are ACE-approved. Not all of them are.

SL Intro to Comm & Managerial Comm will both work. PF Acct I & II aren't ACE-Approved (that I can see), you need to take Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting. If you like PF courses you could take Corporate Finance for your FIN requirement, and it's ACE-Approved.

Consumer Behavior won't have anywhere to fit. Either will Labor Relations. I wouldn't take either of those.

You still need a science credit, either a lab or a course.

Then, finally, at least 1cr that is a GenEd.

Thank you all for your feedback. Dfrecore you are always right on with your advice and guidance. PennFoster class is International Business, so I am good here.I will continue with TECEP advertising and have it moved up as you suggested. I truly appreciate it. Few more questions:

1. If I do SL Biology lab, will it satisfy the 1 credit requirement for natural science?
2. Do I need one more in General management category? need to have 18SH right?
3. So with Org Behavior moved to Gen Ed, I need two more Gen ed electives? so what are my options? Can I use TEEX as electives for my degree?
5. Accounting options, I am looking for speed and ease, I found Penn Foster easy and quick I though PennFoster had ACE approved accounting that can fit into TESU accounting I and II slot Is that the Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting you listed?

So following is what I believe I need to complete, can you guys please confirm:
1. SL Intro to communication
2. SL Business Communication for managerial Communication slot
3. Financial Accounting
4. Managerial Accounting

Sorry about the long post, I appreciate your help.

3. So with Org Behavior and Public Relations moved to Gen Ed, I need two more Gen ed electives? so what are my options? Can I use TEEX as electives for my degree? No - I don't think TEEX counts as GenEd, only Free Electives (I could be wrong, but I wouldn't take the chance)
5. 3. Financial Accounting YES

So let me confirm:
Move:
Org Behavior to Gen Ed
PR to Gen Ed
Advertising to Area of Study

Take:
Intro to Comm
1cr or more of science (SL Bio lab will work, so will Rio Salado College Nutrition Lab $215, can finish in 1 day)
1 3cr GE course (Free Electives, Business courses will not work here)
Financial Accounting
Managerial Accounting
Managerial Communications
ACC or FIN course (PF Corporate Finance will work, Financial Management will not as it duplicates Principles of Finance FIN-301, also SL's Financial Accounting or Managerial Accounting will work, the come in differently than SL's Acct I or II)
