So... I have completed enough work for my ASBA through TESU. The last few courses I need should be approved and added to my ACE transcript sometime this week, and I'll have the transcript on the way hopefully no later than the end of the week.
However, I do have one area of concern. My academic evaluation is correct in regards to my planned credits with the exception of my business electives. Not long ago, I inquired about adding a few planned courses for my BS and somehow in this process everything ended up getting moved around, including the 6 credits I had planned for business electives that are now complete (they are listed as "other courses"). After exchanging a bunch of emails back and forth, I was able to get them to put everything back to where it was, except for the business electives. I started to feel like I was getting on some nerves, so I figured I'd deal with it later.
Well... it's later. My question is will this straighten itself out once I apply for graduation, or is this something I need to be proactive about?

I wouldn't count on things getting straightened out there, I would definitely be proactive.

Haha, you need to be proactive about it, you can see what it points to when you graduate, they'll do another evaluation.
If that secondary evaluation is "not" correctly placed, you need to inform them nicely - ask to see if X can be placed in spot Y.

Dammit. I really was hoping They would have the good sense to straighten this out without my intervention... based on what happened last time, who knows what they'll do to everything. :ack:

Seriously, this is one of the reasons I don't recommend sending transcripts to TESU all the time (like after every course). Every time I've sent them, they've screwed something up.

The screw up didn't come from a transcript, but rather a simple inquiry. I emailed asking if two courses I was considering would duplicate and... well, refer to the story of Humpty Dumpty to see how that worked out.

Remember, the academic evaluation software is automated. When you are emailing back and forth you are dealing with the same folks who man the expressline; not necessarily tech wizards. If close to completion, I would set up a phone appt with an Advisor. What they can do is pin the courses to the desired location. This is done by manually programming each course not to fall in a certain area. When you think about it, it's the only method that makes sense given the "what if" function that maps alternate degree plans.
On the same call you can get final authorizations for courses remaining (if any). Who wants last minute gotchas during your degree audit? Never quite understood how folks walk into degree audits blindly, without having a formal conversation with a Sr Advisor. But, I tend to over plan, it's just the nature of my personality and life experience; better safe than sorry.

If email signatures are to be believed, all of my recent email interactions have been with a "Senior Adviser."

Don't mind me, I'm new to this whole college graduation thing. I'm bound to screw something up

I can't even imagine waiting until the degree audit to make sure that you're ready for graduation.
I'm making an appointment this week, to make sure that everything is done and ready to go for the next round. If things aren't according to plan, and I need to take something, at least I'll have plenty of time to get it done.
