The college has always stated the evaluation processing time as 6-8 weeks; if completed faster, great. Understandably it's always extra slow during the four graduation cycles because they are updating, auditing and certifying those students files. BTW, when you are in the graduation queue transcripts are expedited (1-3 days).

I looked, too. I noticed this: NFA Q318: 12/29/16 (HRM331); NFA Q118: 1/1/17 (FIS391)
That's how mine transferred in as well.
Both were denied, but mine is a BA.LIBST.
My FIS-391 / Intro to Fire Safety Education and my HRM-331 / Human Resources Management only list *NE (Non-Course Equivalency); they don't list *RI (Ruled Ineligible). But two separate counselors say they aren't applicable to my study path.
Do you know why this is?
Thread legal: All of my subsequent transcript evals took over a week. My initial, which consisted of like 3 (2 cc and 1 ACE) took at least 21 or so days. I just completed a Davar Academy course, and requested the transcript be sent same day; it has been a couple of days and not registered on their end.

That's what I recall from when I first applied.
Interestingly enough, their website now says 25 business days:
Thomas Edison State University: All applicants receive an academic evaluation of their past college credits and training to determine how many credits can be transferred to Thomas Edison State University

It's been 25 business days for years. If it takes longer than that, then they probably overlooked your transcripts. That's when you should contact them; they usually do a quick evaluation if it's been brought to their attention that they're running late.

What do you mean by "denied?"
Did these get put in your Free Electives? Because that's where they should have gone. The FIS course is a Free Elective for sure, the HRM course is only not a Free Elective if you are a business major; then it will come into the AOS for General Management or HR.
And if your free electives area is full, then they would go to "Other" just because there's nowhere to put them.

I mean that they transferred in, but the counselors said I could not use them in my degree. I want to say they said my free electives was filled, but I'd have to dig through the email chain to find the exact thing they said.

I sent my transcripts in on April 30 and nothing has been done, I since then sent in another transcript on May 15.
Basically, the wait times are going to be longer as I thought it was 25 days and not 25 business days... there's a difference.
25 days counts the weekends, 25 business days does not count the weekends, so you're looking at 2 extra weeks...

No evaluation done- even yesterday. (I had called last week as they said before the 25th it would be done- nope! So I called to find out why. Nobody knew why). After calling several times this week as it still wasn't being done and not getting anywhere, I spent about 2 hrs on the phone yesterday being passed around person to person. They had lost it! Seriously? Finally got someone to promise it will be done today. It was, but too late for me to call them.
NOT happy. They left off a few Straighterline courses I passed, along with the Vietnam course, and more importantly - the psychology Upper levels courses were DENIED as UL and placed as lower level. 237 & 238
I will be calling on Monday. They have to fix this.
banghead
I start my capstone on Monday. I'm too stressed for this...
I just counted, 25 business days from May 3rd is June 8th. So you're not even there yet. Make sure you don't count weekends or holidays (Memorial Day). M-F only.

I received an email from TESU on 4/28/2017 that my transcript was received on 4/21/2017.
while I am waiting I sent another transcript to TESU and I got an email that the second one was received on 5/30/2017.
I am still waiting.
Transcripts have Alek's and TEEX.
Since 4/21/2017 till today is just over either 25 days or business days.

What do you mean they were denied??? The first time my evaluation was done they came in as free electives. I think they've bounced down to my "other courses" because I took a few extra courses that got moved into free electives in place of those. But they were never ruled ineligible or not applied. I took them because they were free, I had time and I hadn't had my initial evaluation done. As it was, I had several other courses that were more applicable to my AOS and ended up over 120 credits. I didn't really have to ask them be applied anywhere specific. If you are getting a BALS almost anything can be used a free elective. It is a very transfer friendly degree program. So I would be surprised if you couldn't use them in free electives.
