OMG TESU! Seriously, making unnecessary changes again? All of these changes are essentially "money grabs". The Cornerstone was a money grab to begin with and now changing it to a required 3 credit course has made TESU much more expensive.
They're doing so to "make a profit". I would reply back and ask if that SOS-110 course can be transferred into the degree plan, and ask again if it's a requirement since the Cornerstone is still in effect as per their web page.
In other words, ask/plead your case for an exception as the new catalog year hasn't changed yet, technically they're still on 2018/2019.

I went ahead an emailed advising instead. They said that I can still take TES-100 and that'll satisfy the requirement. So the Director and advising are telling me different things.

I'll just go with what advising said. I'll take TES-100 and see what happens.

Looks like I need to go ahead and apply. Then jump on the March TES-100 class too. I can worry about transcripts later.

Please let us know how that goes, and whether they let you in under the 2018 catalog. My daughter is applying later this year, but she may do it sooner if needed.

I talked on the phone with advising earlier today. They said since my catalog year is 2019 on my evaluation, I will have to take SOS-110.

That's pretty lame. I'd call in again. I just searched online and you can still signup for the cornerstone for Feb or March.
I'd try and take the course and then show that the change is not supposed to be in effect until July.

I find it strange how yesterday, they said in an email that I can still take the cornerstone. I'll likely take the cornerstone anyway. They said since I'm transferring in The Institutes free class, that 1 missing credit will be added to my electives total.
