After reading some comments on this forum about the Strategic Management TECEP going away, I decided to go ahead and apply/pay for mine now.
I am still waiting for my formal evaluation from TESU.
While I did jump the gun a bit, my question is when will I be able to take the tecep?
Will I be eligible on the start day? 05/01/17
Or any time during the term? Meeting Information 05/01/2017-07/23/2017?
Since I am still at a Military instillation finding a Proctor for in person testing will not be an issue. I plan on sending TESU my proctors information ASAP via
https://eforms.tesu.edu/appnet/ota2.html
If anyone has any advise or comments please feel free to reply.

After I registered for it, I got an email from the school:
Dear Student,
You are receiving this email because our records show that you are registered for BUS-421 TECEP exam. BUS-421-TE (Strategic Management) is currently under review. As a result, the test description has temporarily been removed from our website. This will not affect your ability to complete the exam, or to register for the TECEP in a new term.
A copy of the test description has been attached for your convenience. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Test Administration at testing@tesu.edu.
So after registering for it, you should get the email with the test description attached.

Just to clarify once this TECEP is gone there will be no way to completely test out of a degree at TESU right? I was looking at another degree plan but I think this one may work better. I guess I need to go ahead and sign up for this exam just in case.

I have also registered for this TECEP today. I don't have any business courses under my belt (well, except Intro to business taken 10 years ago) so I am nervous that I have registered for this so early in my journey. I plan to take it mid July to give me plenty of time to prep and maybe tackle a few required business courses in the meantime.

Yes If I was you I would definitely try and tackle the Intro to Management course, and any Business Courses you can get done. They will all at the very least help you build up how businesses work and tackle a bunch of the "list" you will want to know. I am just starting to prep for this TECEP today and hoping to take it within the next three weeks. Sooner the better but I'd rather make sure I am 100% ready to hit that 60% mark. Needed to speed up taking this I don't care if I get exactly a 60 on it, a pass is a pass. I usually like to aim for a much higher grade then passing but I'm willing to make an exception.
