TESU History BA - Need help with Roadmap
#1
Hello everybody. Ive begun to put together a roadmap to attempt to get a BA in history from TESU. Ive used some online credit calculators, and have decided I should be able to finish and graduate by May if I get started soon. I have always loved history and am a quick study in that department. My only real worry is the one course required to take at TESU and some GEN ED. Here's a list of credits I already have after 1 year at Becker College in a game design major:

Credits I tested out of already (Thank the lord for Acuplacer):

English Comp 1
ENGL-1001 -3 Cred

Writing About Literature
Engl-1003 - 3 Cred

Shouldnt need to take Eng Comp 2 either, these were the only two required for my previous major, but I basically tested out of all English related gen ed.

Non-Major courses (Gen ed applicable?):

Computer Programming 1
CPTR-1100-ONL - 3 credits

Statistics
MATH-2200-ONL - 3 credits

Japanese Langauge 1
JPNS-1001-W01 - 4 credits

Japanese Language 2
JPNS-1002-W01 - 4 credits

Intro to Game Design
GAME-1120-W02 - 3 Credits

Principles of Drawing
ARTS-1100-W05 - 3 Credits

Introduction to Humanities
HUMN-1001-W01 - 3 credits

Introduction to Sociology
SOCI-1001 ONL - 3 Credits

Couses that may be applied to Major:

Western Civilizations 1
-3 creds (Taken at Berkshire Community College)

History of Game Development
Game-1001-W01 -3 Credits

Unsure if Applicable at all:

First Year Experience
ACAD-1001-W10 - 2 Credits

Im using Sanantone's BA History Roadmap for the courses I need to take to qualify for the History Major, but Im not quite sure mow many of my non-history related courses can be applied to gen ed. I know I'm good for english, but I think I need to take another Math course unless I can apply my programming class as a math course. My 2 Japanese courses I know can be used for multiple areas by I want to apply as many of the credits I already have as possible.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks! Wink

I could really use help seeing which of these credits can be applied where (other than the couple obvious ones) so anyone with credit transfer experience for TESU I would greatly appreciate the help.

Statistics should satisfy the math requirement (quantitative literacy). The Japanese Language 1 and 2 courses, Principles of drawing, intro to humanities should satisfy either knowledge of human cultures or general ed electives. Intro to sociology would satisfy the diversity requirement. The first year experience should transfer in but would most likely count as a free elective.

Thanks, I was hoping it would. I am also curious if they would accept my Intro to game design course as a free elective.
