To get a Bachelors Degree from TESU one must have a gpa of 2.0 or higher, correct? Is a passing grade on the Capstone also required or does everything hinge on the total gpa collectively?
Imagine the following scenario:
Someone does great in SOS-110. After this class their gpa is 4.0. Three months later they are ready to take the Capstone. They fail the class and their gpa sinks to 2.0. Can this person still graduate or will they need to retake the Capstone?

They will have to retake the Capstone. If you fail a class, you don't get credit for it so they would still have the Capstone requirement unmet.

Yep, plus you need to earn at least a letter grade of C in your capstone course (technically this applies to AoS courses taken at TESU as well) in order to receive credit and be eligible to graduate, regardless of your GPA.

With the Online Course (I am not sure about Guided Study), I see the mid-term is 25% of the grade and the Final Project is 20%. I've seen multiple threads about capstone final projects but I know next to nothing about the BUS-421 mid-term. It is a proctored exam so what is the format? Multiple choice? I don't see myself doing that well if I have to do a writing assignment with a 1 or 2 hour time limit. Could you share your thoughts on what the mid-term was like? Thanks.

BUS-421 midterm is 10 multiple choice questions and 4 short answer/essay questions with a 2-hour limit. It is proctored (via ProctorU).
If you want more details, I posted about the exam in the BUS-421 thread we had going (you can probably find it with a forum search) but the tl;dr version is that the multiple choice questions are confusing since many of the questions have multiple correct answers, but they are looking for the best correct answer. Also, the questions don't really align with the practice exam, though it does show you what to expect format wise. The 4 essay questions are based on explaining and applying concepts from the text. I also reference Quizlet flashcards created by myself and others in that thread which cover the key study concepts.
