Has anyone confirmed whether the 2.0 TESU GPA requirment applies even if you are paying the residency waiver?
I've emailed them twice and can't seem to get a straight answer. They won't even address it when they reply.

I finally got a straight answer. The 2.0 GPA is just a suggestion and not a requirement for the per-credit plan

+1, I was wondering why that was just a suggestion if it's in their Graduation Requirements.
Was it by email or by a call? If by email, can you paste that info? Thanks

No problem. It was via email.

I just applied on the 6th and was planning to transfer in all of my credits from elsewhere, take the cornerstone this Fall and pay the 2,000$ residency waiver in order to graduate.
Do I have to take an additional course at TESU beside the Cornerstone for G.P.A purposes? I'm unsure whether any requirements apply in my situation.

Thomas Edison State University does not require a specific GPA for the undergraduate degree programs. It is recommended that students have a 2.0 GPA.

JSD wrote in another thread that the requirements hadn't changed despite it seeming to be different. I assumed it to be a requirement as well, but just wanted to confirm it with the school.

Awesome, just a side note, you can only transfer 90 credits from one source, meaning 90 from Straighterline or whatever.
But you can transfer everything in for the time being (it's going to change for the Cornerstone/Capstone in a couple of weeks)

Thanks for looking into it. There was a lot of speculation. Seemed off to me.
