My daughter just received her TESU evaluation. Of course, I have a few questions.
1. The insurance ethics class (PHI-384) was put in the Diversity section instead of Ethics. Is this a mistake and she should contact admissions (or advising, I'm not sure who she has been communicating with) to have them change it?
2. She needs 11 more GE electives. If she takes 12 (four 3 credit classes) will the extra credit be bumped to free electives?
3. Priorities - Right now she is working on three CLEPS (American Lit, English Lit, and Marketing). She loves studying for CLEPs and they are free with Modern States. But I'm thinking she should...
a) ...take a TECEP to enroll. Are there ones that have a reputation of being easier?
b) ...take a month of Study.com so she will get the discount. If she does this by June, will she lock into the current discount?
4. I pretty much have the rest of the degree planned out. But when I went to check on the non-western literature from the College of DuPage, I couldn't find it on their website anymore. What are the other non-western options?
5. Is there anything else on the evaluation that looks wrong or do you have any suggestions? I'll post the evaluation in the next message because apparently this one was too long (I received an error message).
I was pleased with how they applied her English Comp credits. She took a 4 credit class at a University. Instead of taking the next English Comp class there (which was 2 credits), she just took the CLEP for 6 credits. So they gave her 4 credits for the university class and 3 credits for the CLEP. Total of 7 credits. For some reason, I thought they would only give her 6 credits total.
Thanks for your help!
Here is her evaluation. I tried to clean it up but it still looks a little confusing.
