TESU received about $400,000 in Coronavirus aid from the federal gov't. They are offering scholarships of $1000 each!
I had work issues and was seriously affected by the pandemic. I just received my scholarship which was applied to my Dec session of SOS-110. It took about 5 or 6 days for it to come in after I applied.
This was very very helpful and cut my cost down to $557 for the class.

This might help someone now and get them to start their cornerstone so they are locked into their degree program and not have to worry about funds. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on getting the scholarship!

Kinda annoyed since I just paid mine off hopefully they will reimburse me. How much did you get. Did you rceieve a $1000 and was it apply directly to your debit card or was it applied to your account?

For those at TESU: Just wondering, did you get an email from TESU about financial aid? And the amount they gave you for Aid? Strange, I received one email and they mentioned they provided aid for the entire course for me... but I was charged a portion of the course. I was curious if you got something like that as well.

Yes.. It seems they increased my amount from $1,000 to $1,557 and left me a credit of $557. It Will be handy for my Capstone in Spring!

LOL, I am so glad I applied last month when I was reading their site, I wasn't eligible for other scholarships and skimmed through everyone of them...

Really did they said anything else about it?

Really bummed I took courses early and they only reimburse me $500 not the 1000.

I received a $1000 from TESU covid relief and I was informed by email I had been selected . For those unaware you had to apply for it , it wasn’t all students kinda thing ..The $1000 had to be used in the December term to maintain it . I had already done my cornerstone and didn’t have enough credits at that time for a capstone so I used it to buy a class I couldn’t find on study . Ended up making the class $137 out of my pocket which was a big help .
In progress: TESU BSBA-Finance , TESU BSBA-GM, UNT-Biology Completed : Clep (3 credits ), Sophia (63 credits ), Study (39 credits) TESU (9 credits )

++++
No they didn't and I actually received a check a couple of weeks ago for the $557, so they didn't leave it as a credit in the end.
