Is anyone else watching this? Even in 720 HD (the highest it goes) it's super choppy & I can't even understand what they are saying.
I hope they have a recording of the commencement in better quality with captions after!
Also, do they say the names of the people who graduated but couldn't attend? I'm at the house watching this by myself, but not sure at this point if it is worth it given the quality.

I tried to watch it. I really did. But it kept starting and stopping, and I can't understand them. Kinda sad about it, I was looking forward to watching in real time.
With that said, fear not! If the 2015 commencement vid is any indication, there will be a MUCH BETTER video of the 2016 commencement when it's all said and done!
I think I will call TESU and give some suggestions though, even some stuff I noticed from Excelsior's Commencement that they can use to make the filming experience sharper!

The follow up video will be better, sorry Sweetsecret but your name will not even appear in the commencement program. I don't know how many people have graduated that would qualify for this commencement but remember it is not just the Sept class. When I earned my AAS in Dec. 2012 they still invited me to the Sept 2013 commencement.

They didn't announce the names of people who didn't attend. There were over 800 people who graduated in September. Combining that with graduates from June, March and December would have been a lot of names. Unfortunately, they couldn't read them all. Actually, we stated our own names when we walked across the stage. It took a long time and some people ad libbed quite a bit.

Some of the comments certainly were annoying. With that said, the "Dr Pruit - I need a job!" guy amused me.
While the second honorary degree recipient had a nice message, his delivery was over extended.

I agree about that guy asking for job even jokingly was out of place. He should have known that education prepares you for the job but colleges doesn't hold your hand to help you find one especially when you are an adult learner. I think it was fantastic experience except lengthy non relevant speech from doctorate guy from overseas, you know who

I'll anxiously wait to see the final video. I feel like I totally missed whatever speeches happened. The audio was so bad that I really could only make out when someone screamed "Army" or "Navy". LOL The choppy video was terrible too. Half the time it was so bad I couldn't even read the names of the speakers. I'm still glad they had it though, because it beat being at home on graduation day and not feel like it's graduation day!
Congratulations to all of my new fellow alumni! :hurray::hurray::hurray:

The TESU 2016 Commencement video has been posted. I haven't watched in its entirety but it's been edited to something much better than the live streaming.
