Edit Reason: quote
)
I was looking at TESU's CLEP Program page, and noticed something interesting:
https://www.tesu.edu/academics/catalog/C...rogram.cfm
At the very bottom is a notice that some CLEPs come in as TESU Assessment credit instead of TESU CLEP credit:
Quote:* CLEP subject examination update. Thomas Edison State University has conducted an academic program review on this exam. Credit awarded for this exam will be considered TESU assessment credit, not TESU-CLEP credit, and will show on the official transcript under TESU assessment credit.
I'm wondering if because of this, you could get away with taking, say, A&I Lit for 6 credits and have it show up as RA credit instead of CLEP credit on a BOG AAS. Anyone got A&I/American/English Lit or Humanities CLEPs on their TESU transcript? I'd be curious to see how it shows up.

CLEP credit on my transcript is clearly marked "assessment credit"

I'm debating spending the $45 to see how this plays out ($30 to transfer my CLEPs into TESU and $15 to send my TESU transcript to Pierpont).

Like Jennifer said, it's still marked as "assessment credit" on the transcript. It will say TESU assessment instead of TESU-CLEP assessment, but it will still be clear that TESU isn't the source. You would in all likelihood be throwing away $45.

My TESU eval shows that the credit came from a CLEP exam (it shows the source of where the credits came from right at the top of the eval, and links each credit to that source).

Alright. Figured it might be worth a look at least. Thanks for checking.

Don't know for a fact, but fairly sure they will. You'll still need something that gives a GPA, like a UExcel.

TECEP's are P/F, so no grade.

I had a P/F class count as 3 RA credit hours for my BOG.
