LIB STUDIES UL - TESU

HRM is one of the concentrations along with PSY, SOC, GM, COMM, etc....What am I missing?

I'm not an advisor at tesu nor a professional/semi-professional degree planner.

I worked with the assumption that even though HR Management is one of the LS concentrations there are only specific courses listed in that concentration are the type of HR courses that could count in a "no concentration BALS option". SDC Bus 306 HR development is more "business" than "liberal studies" in content.   Think of it as a Venn diagram where you have HR business and HR-liberal studies (comm and management) and not all of the courses overlap but some do. (That's different from disciplines such as history or psych where it's all in LS to begin with.(
I could be easily wrong, but dfrecore doesn't think sdc bus 306 is either.

oh, looking for less writing and UL... check out SDC English 305. or maybe SDC Psychology 301....
TESU: BALS June 2021 (comm college, clep, sdc sophia coopersmith, SOS110, and capstone)

Your explanation is very clear--TY. And TY for pointing out SDC Eng 305 and Psy 301. I noticed that Psy 301 is an option for LS, do you know if Eng 305 is one as well?

Eng 305 transfers as Eng 306 and was counted in my UL for BALS a few months ago.  Technical writing is considered in "humanities".
Other low amount of writing options can include course providers such as coopersmith career.  They are not ACE but NCCRS credits. I was used to studying for CLEP exams so the format with Coopersmith worked well for me to get some UL in some psychology courses I was interested in. I'm glad I did the SDC essay courses too so that I was in the habit of writing before starting this capstone.

TY for sharing...When I did my BSBA last year, I did some of the ULs at SDC. The papers weren't too difficult. Right now I'm helping my wife finding a shorter path. She wanted to complete a BA in Psy, which she might in the future, but right now, she just wants to complete a 4-year degree and she is only 3 class away from a BALS. For a BA in Psy, she is 7 classes away, but two are non-testout.....

Which 2?  I show this as a test-out degree from TESU.
