Hi all,
I just completed the requirements for the ASBA at TESU and graduate in December. (yaaaay!) Along the way I racked up 90 credit hours that have been applied to the BSBA Accounting degree. I am taking a little break before diving back into classes. I am hoping to finish the remaining classes as fast as possible, and would appreciate any suggestions on my plan below:
Requirements needed:
POS-1100 American Government CLEP
MAN-3730 Managerial Communications SOPHIA
MAN-3720 International Management SDC
BUS-4210 Bus Admin Capstone TESU
ACC-2010 Int. Acctg I SDC
ACC-2020 Int. Acctg II SDC
ACC-4210 Federal Income Tax UL TECEP
ACC-4010 Advanced Acctg I UL SDC
ACC-3030 Cost Accounting UL SDC
ACC-4110 Auditing UL UNA
I currently have 21 RA credits; after the Capstone I will need two RA classes to fulfill the 30 RA requirement. I am unsure if taking the TECEP for MAN-3730 is a better use of my time with the potential of failing the exam. Anyone have any experience with that TECEP? I feel like I can knock the Sophia course out in a weekend. I am not as concerned about the Fed Income Tax TECEP as I have taken a Fed Tax class in the past. Those credits did not come in as UL and were applied to the Electives section.
Also, I just paid the residency waiver fee for the ASBA. Will I need to pay that again when I finish the BSBA? If yes, is it better to just take three additional TESU courses to fulfill both RA and residency requirements? Are there any other UL requirements that I need to worry about besides the AOS UL?
Cost isn't as much a factor as I do have some tuition assistance. My main focus is finishing the degree as soon as possible. I have roughly 15-20 hours per week to devote to classes.
Thanks!

If you graduate with your Bachelor's degree within the next 12 months, you will not need to pay the residency waiver fee again.

Congrats again for the completion of your ASBA! If you have enough additional credits or electives, you can add the AA along with that and any certificates you may qualify for as I mentioned to this member: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid407035
You have the residency waiver fee paid, it includes all certs/associates and the first bachelors. You should finish the Bachelors within 15 months, but technically, there is no limit on time... Here's the deal with the residency waiver fee, explained: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid390111

Thanks! That's a huge help. I was not looking forward to paying the residency fee again. Definitely think I can finish it up within 15 months.
I'm unclear though on the RA requirement and what is acceptable. Taking into account the Capstone needed, that will give me 24 RA credits. Can I fill in the remaining RA credits with TECEPS? Not sure if those count towards RA.
Thanks!

Yes, TECEPs count. It's not really a 30cr RA requirement, it's a 90cr limit on alt credit, so anything else, RA community colleges and 4 year schools, foreign colleges, and TECEPs all can be used. The confusion comes because TECEPs don't fulfill residency requirements to avoid the residency waiver. But you've already paid that.

Going to take a stab at passing the TECEP for Managerial Comm and Fed Taxation.
One more question…..are there any other UL requirements for the BSBA Accounting degree besides the AOS?

Yes, 1 UL in the Business Core requirements, 12 in the AOS, and the Capstone for a total of 18 UL credits.
