Oh, yes. It's only an issue with ALEKS + ALEKS. TESU brings in ALEKS Precalc as MAT-129 Precalculus and Sophia Algebra as MAT-121 College Algebra.
In progress:

Academic Advisor confirmed it is better to stay away fom ALEKS Precalc. So the question remains: Precalc at Straighterline or Study.com?

Sorry, TESU advisors don't know anything. They're wrong about as often as they're right. That said, if you'd rather trust them, Straighterline might be a bit easier but uses ProctorU. SDC might be a bit more difficult but uses RPNow. Live proctor (ProctorU) vs. recorded proctor (RPNow).

TESU advisors know nothing. You can take any of these ALEKS courses that will come in as MAT-129:
- Precalculus
- Trigonometry
- College Algebra w/Trig
I know this for 100% certainty, it has been this way for MANY years, and MANY people have brought these courses in from ALEKS this way.

@tumpii, I would decide which provider you like more and see which course allows you to almost pass the course before you hit the final exam. Some StraighterLine or Study.com courses are like that, you practically need very little to get pass that 70% point on the final exam as there are quizzes and assignments that you can get better grading on... the final exam wouldn't need to have a great score and you will still pass.

Great to see another TESU Aviation degree seeker here! I took the Meteorology TECEP and wished I had taken it as an epack. I crammed for about 4 hrs since I feel pretty comfortable with the subject but the test was hard. I had like 6 volcano related questions which I hadn’t even looked at. I finished and looked up everything immediately afterwards and was pretty sure i was going to get close to 70% and possibly fail but got an 80%. So they must have had a percentage of throw out questions. The test had some bad questions too and questions from UL meteorology. As for Ethics I took intro to ethics at Sophia and it was super easy. Could finish it in 2 days if focused (or less). I also took art history. Just as easy and interesting too.
