I've heard of Excelsior but never really looked into them. Is it easier to transfer in upper level credits there than at TESU?

In general, Excelsior accepts fewer credits than TESU does. If you're trying to test out of a degree, that aspect might be a hindrance to your goals.

Not been my experience that EC takes fewer credits than TESU. I received the full 113 transfer credits at EC. Maybe it depends on what your major is and where you've taken the credits. They all have to fit in a degree plan. Many people just take credits for the sake of taking them because they're cheap. Lots of us are taking a ton of Sophia courses because they're free. I never expected most of them to transfer because I already have a ton of credits and they don't fit into my degree plan. But who knows what degrees I'll want down the line so I'm doing them because they're free.
