Hello! A quick question.
I have heard that having a BA will waive the gen eds and electives and will require to do only the AOS+Capstone at TESU. What makes me wonder, however, is what if my UMPI BA has English 104/105 from Study.com? As we know, TESU accepts only English 204/205 from Study.com. Will TESU care at all about the course source?
Thanks!

@Chankosumo, your degree is from a public/state and most importantly a 'local' (in country) institution, so, you're safe. You'll get a favorable evaluation and exemption/waiver for the general education and electives, you just need to make sure of the requirements of the major is fulfilled. If you graduated from an international institution, it really depends on the degree you have before they will do the 'same waiver'...
Just to let you know, and other readers, you need to meet all the requirements of the degree major, not just the new 24 credits, if the major has 45 credits and you do not have those in the previous studies, you're still going to have to complete these requirements for the major, you can't skip any of the remaining classes. Some people read the requirements of 24 new credits and think that's all they need to take...

Couple of more questions.
1. If none of my UMPI credits are part of my TESU AOS, do they end up being used to calculate the overall TESU GPA at all?
2. If the answer to the above is "no", if I then transfer only a single graded course (as part of the TESU AOS), would this one course together with the TESU capstone form my GPA?

Only courses completed at TESU are used to calculate your GPA at TESU. This is pretty normal and how it works at most colleges.

1) No. External classes have no bearing on the internal GPA at TESU
2) No. Graded capstone is your only internal GPA at TESU.
