I enrolled in TESU in May prior to the cornerstone requirement and I'm currently under the 16-17 catalog. If I want to change my BSBA area of study, will I still be under the same catalog? Or will they treat it as if I'm applying for the first time?

I wouold call and ask them *on the phone*. Don't do it through email. Once I asked what the procedure was to change my degree plan in an email to advising -- and they just did it and closed the case. In your case you really don't want this to happen..

Thanks. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I too noticed that they tend to make changes to your student account even if you're just simply asking a question. I emailed the registrar about courses that I was thinking about possibly taking to see how they would transfer in, and I received a response saying that the courses in question had been added to my degree plan. That was not at all what I was asking to be done.
Phone call it is hilarious

You can change your AOS in the BSBA without changing catalogs.

That exact thing happened to me as well, now that you mention it. I had asked if the penn foster international business course would still satisfy that requirement and they answered yes. Later after I decided to pay for the course and take it, I asked them to add it -- and they said it was already there and that I should tell them if I want to change it to something else. *facepalm*
At least, so far, none of these mistakes have cost me anything but a few minutes of time here and there.
