Hi all,
I'm looking for some ideas on where I can get a (preferably free) general ed credit for TESU.
I cannot seem to match up what's on the TEEX website with what's on the ACE website.
I have already done the free ethics class at the The Institutes.

If you haven't taken the Kaplan documenting your experience course, it's 3 credits gen Ed and a lot quicker than teex.

Maybe the NFA 1-credit courses? Not sure if TESU accepts them though...

Yes, I already did the Kaplan class. I sent over the transcript with both free classes.

It looks like I got 2 credits from Ace for these TEEX classes and I think they're going to be counted as Gen Ed
(meaning I had to do all three to get the 2 credits)

EC AWR175 0049 Information Security for Everyone
EC AWR174 0049 Cyber Ethics

Great idea. Apparently I already had a FEMA ID so I signed up for this class: Self-Study Course for Community Safety Educators (Q0118), which is a 1-credit class according to ACE. I will find out if TESU accepts it.
Thank you!

They accept it, but as a Free Elective, not GenEd. Have you taken an ALEKS course? If you haven't, I think Intermediate Algebra is fairly easy, you could do it in less than a month and only spend $20. All of the Saylor courses are only $25, some are GenEd.

I just got my updated evaluation. Things have been shifted so now I just need a free elective. I completed Self-Study Course for Community Safety Educators and am just waiting for it to be verified by ACE. I think I'm good to go!
