Hello guys. I’m thinking of TESU, EC, or University in my state if I get approved with FAFSA
I’m writing in regards to this and asking what is the benefit of getting this service? Is it concerting ACE to Thomas Edison Courses and having a transcript that Regionally Accredited?
Students may also use ACE transcript to create a Thomas Edison State University transcript for use at another college by submitting a Non-degree Services Application for Individual Learning Account or by contacting the Office of Admissions at (609) 777-5680 or admissions@tesu.edu.
The application should then be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, at the address listed above.
What do you think is the process for this if they are credit courses from the ACE Registry with different sources like SL, SDC, Penn Foster, TEEX, Sophia?
Apart from ACE transcripts, do you need the transcripts separately mailed from the source to the school?
For example StraighterLine plus the ACE transcript, or the ACE transcript only (that includes all organizations like StraighterLine) will be enough?
If I’m not mistaken, I saw on the page of TESU that SDC transcripts needs to directly come from them and not through ACE which I thought was due being coded specially with a discount. I just found out from admissions:
We need transcripts directly from the source. Ace is not a source, it is an accreditation. Study.com is the source.
Lastly, is this program for someone who wants to generate a TESU transcript without attending TESU but then use the transcript for another school? What is the benefit of this if you end up transferring to TESU in the end anyway?
