I think the first case study is most nerve wrecking as you don't really know how to approach the writing. I make sure to answer all questions (I alternate between finding answers in the textbook or online, whatever is easiest). I don't go into numbers or severely in-depth case evaluations, but I do format the paper correctly and cite all sources. So far I have gotten all A's. Hope this helps someone in the future...

I'm also in June Capstone and I'm really stressing the midterm next week.

If you haven't seen this thread already, there's some good tips and study materials for the midterm. The midterm is definitely doable with enough preparation.

Thank you, I bookmarked it a while ago and using it as a study guide now.  Smile

I might be in your July Capstone 421. I was rushed and didn't do well on last weeks case analysis - I think i'll need a full day for those from now on.

I'm in June Capstone.  Drilling, drilling the essay questions. I've been studying but my mind goes blank when I look at the essay questions lol.... I might be overthinking it.

I just finished the April capstone in June. It really is not that bad. I really loved my mentor (I had Dr. Himelstein) and thought everything was graded fairly. In my experience with the course, you could be completely off base from what the text wanted you to say, but as long as you have a good argument and good relevant supporting facts the professors are very open. The case studies were not that hard since it's pretty easy to fill 4 pages, and I only skimmed the required reading, preferring Google Scholar's resources to the textbook's.

FYI: you can find a Midterm Study Guide by posabsolutePLUS on Quizlet. It is not perfect (IMO) but it gives you somewhat of a direction...

Yes, I'm using that as a base guideline.  Thank you!
