I'm in a bit of a pickle. I want to eventually enroll in the Homeland Security degree at TESC. I only have a few credits at a local community college so I basically have to take most of the classes, with the exception of the FEMA credits I've earned already.
I want to test out of a lot of courses, but in the mean time I need financial aid to help cover my expenses. So I can't focus on testing just yet.
TESC's enrollment plans are WAY to expensive for me to consider right now. After all their fees are paid I'll be left with a less than $2k for me.
So I'm considering Western Governors for a year. Just to get a lot of the general ed courses out of the way. The tuition is low considering you can take more than 12 units per term.
My concern though is how those WGU "units" will transfer to TESC.
I talked to the registrar at TESC but couldn't get any info as far as how those units would transfer, but they did tell me they will accept the units.
Has anyone had experience transferring WGU units to TESC?
