I can I ask what the Penn Foster Business and Tech Writing course gets transcribed as? So you actually could do both right? Thanks
Hi Alley,
Yes, you could do both! Penn Foster Business & Tech Writing transcribes as ENG-216.

Thanks so much Bric. Now can you also do DSST Tech Writing exam and get credit for that one also?

You are welcome and I agree; same subject matter so it's a natural progression as well as easily doable while completing other courses or testing!

This is great because a friend of mine that I am helping with her degree will benefit from these tests/classes. As you said natural progression. Thanks

Does this mean that you can get credit for all three courses at TESC? The Technical Writing DSST will transcribe as ENG 201, Penn Foster's Business and Technical Writing will transcribe as ENG-216, and Straighterline's Business Communications will transcribe as COM 300? That would be amazing! Do any other Straighterline courses transcribe as upper level?

Yes, the three courses are accepted at TESC. There is one other course considered UL: ACC150 managerial accounting, transcribes as ACC303 cost accounting. Transfer College Credits To Thomas Edison State College (TESC) - StraighterLine

I know this is an old thread, but can someone tell me if the DSST Technical Writing will fulfill the Business Communications requirement for the BSBA from TESC? I know that the PF Business and Technical Writing will fulfill it, but will the DSST? I'm thinking no, but I wanted to check. Thanks!
