English comp and math are NOT my strengths. What are the easiest or most expedient options?

I took the EC2 at Straighterline and I liked the structure better then at TESC. I found it to be easy since it reminded me of the exact same course I took at my BM college that I got a D in since I lost so many points due to poor attendance when I submitted A/B graded papers. In the SL course I didn't read the frankenstein book I just used the cliff notes which helped me form my opinions in my papers.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesnt the CLEP English exam with the essay satisfy TESC's English 1 and 2 requirement ?
