When my son signed up for this TECEP, it was automatically assigned as a free elective (even though my son needed more Natural Science credits). When he talked to the adviser, it was reclassified as a 100 level computer science elective for the B.A. Computer Science degree.
My guess is that TESC considers it a free elective until otherwise approved.
