Hi, all!
Just got my first evaluation done today! From what I can tell, TESC rearranged some things (not too worried about that), and left 8 of my DSSTs off. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what would y'all advise me to do?
Also, is there anywhere I can see an official catalogue of TESCs course whatchmacallits? On my evaluation I think they put my ECE as HIS-399; I was just wondering what that meant. Not too important, but just curious.
Thanks!

If they received the DSST transcript it has not been evaluated yet.
My experience with 399 is the course has been accepted as an UL but its still processing. Check again in a day or so for an update. Hopefully in the interim a tesc student will come by that can answer how it's transcribed.

They've had my transcript for a while. I emailed them yesterday asking for a reason the evaluation hadn't been done yet. They did it today! Out of the 10 DSSTs I took and passed, only Environment and Humanity and Modern Middle East were included. I find it really strange that they would totally leave off the other 8, especially since it's not consistent (all UL got left off, or whatever).

If the exams missing are not in the other courses section and marked as *dup, etc...that means it is not yet complete or dsst somehow left off 8 courses from the transcript they sent. Don't be surprised, it has happened. It's two ways of finding out...call tesc and ask to speak to an evaluator to confirm how many exams are on the transcipt or call dsst to find out.

Here is the testing part of the course catalog for future reference, but ECEs aren't listed.

I emailed TESC to see if that's the case. If that's what happened, do I contact DSST to send another transcript???

I've used that link extensively throughout my testing and degree-planning. I even printed it all out just for ease. It's helped a lot, but that's one of the reasons I'm wondering why TESC left off so many of my DSSTs. I know for sure none of the have duplicated anything else I've done - according to their catalog!.
Thanks so much, y'all! I guess all I can do is wait until TESC gets back with me.

Thanks! You were right in suspecting DSST. TESC only received 2 of my DSST scores. I have contacted DSST, and I am again waiting. I seem to be doing a lot of that lately. :p

Waiting is hard, but if you call TESC once you are sure they have all your DSST and ask them to expedite your reevaluation they can do that. Sometimes an e-mail or phone call to the right person can really speed things up. Once they have everything if there is any problem with your ECE just e-mail them a copy of the ECE exam explanation. When I took the Elementary Reading ECE they gave me only 6 100 level credits at first. Once I appealed it I got the 6 300 level credits.

Yes Ma'am, the evaluation queue is a necessary evil for TESC students. That's why I use the :toetap: in my signature!
At least the mystery is now solved!
