ECEs - raw score versus letter grade?

I just did the practice test for Foundations of Gerontology and Psych of Adulthood and Aging. I have to take both ECEs in the next two weeks. Does anyone know where I can find a rough calculation of a raw score 70/100 on the FG - into what that would be as a letter grade?

Take a look at this technical data on ECE's. It is difficult to give a hard and fast rule on raw score v. scaled grade for ECEs. What this published data shows is the Gerontology exam is a much heavier lift than the AA exam. I would have scheduled them differently based on the data published in the technical handbook linked above. There is something called the Angoff Method, which is used to rate item difficulty, and subsequently the cut scores for each letter grade. The Angoff method utilizes a diverse collection of subject matter experts from a given field who rate item difficulty of each test question after those questions have been proven to be both valid and reliable measures of subject matter competence. The English translation is easy questions (as determined by the panel of experts), earn you less points than harder questions. Because multiple choice exams can be guessed on, item difficulty never drops below 25% nor goes above 95%.

What is important on ECE practice tests is that you should be clear why you got the ones you got wrong wrong. Know why the wrong answers are wrong on the questions you answered correctly as well. Retake the practice exams using the process of elimination method where you simply cross off the wrong choices. Reverse engineering a test gets you into the test constructor's mind. Wrong answers are actually called distracters by test designers and are as important as right answers in determining the difficulty level of any given question. That is how I got the most out of the ECE practice tests.

Everyone says to do FofG after PAA, but I understand the FofG much better. I'm in healthcare administration and a lot of it is about services and health of seniors. When I did the practice tests I totally bombed PAA, but did 75/100 on FofG without any studying. So, I think I'll be okay with taking them out of order.

FofG if not a $99 test - it's an expensive one - so I really have to do well on it - I can't afford to flunk it

I have 5 more days and I have the book, so I'm on a study schedule today and every night until Thursday morning.
