Hi All,
So i've finished all my classes for my BSBA through TESC. I have not enrolled yet.
The issue i'm having is that TESC is not counting my Microeconomics and Macroeconomics classes that I took while at the Junior College a while back.
As I am not enrolled, I can only receive so much help from them. I was thinking I should write my junior college and have them resend the transcript with a course description for the two classes. What do you all think?
Any advice or suggestions on how I can resolve this...no clue as to why they are seemingly not accepting these classes at random.
Thanks.
Dan

That is odd. Is the college regionally accredited? Did they accept other credits from that college? Although I don't think this would be a factor, but were the credits over 10 years old? I know when I requested my college transcript the request got lost and it took me three weeks to figure this out and submit another request. Are you sure they received the transcript?
If you have all your courses done I would apply to the college so you can talk to an advisor and apply for graduation before the July 1st deadline (for September graduation). Is there a reason why you have not yet applied?
When I scheduled an advising appointment with someone in the business department I had to schedule it a week out.

TESC will accept courses that are more than 10 years old. They accepted one of mine that is 14 or 15 years old. OP, they already have your transcripts, so I doubt that sending another would be useful. I wonder if this wasn't just human error on the part of whomever evaluated your transcripts? I would say to get a copy of the course descriptions from your old college catalogue, & set-up an appointment to speak to an evaluator. Have those course descriptions scanned in & able to e-mail to the evaluator along with maybe the front cover from the catalogue. Worse case scenario though, you could consider taking the TECEP exams to make up the credit.
