TESC Policy On Retakes?
#1
Does anyone know? I am getting mixed signals from the website and the registration book.

What is their policy on retaking a course for a higher grade? Unless a miracle happens, I may well be failing an online class I took there. I've had a lot going on, even on my extension, and totally messed up a final project that was worth 40% of my grade....

I really did not want this to happen... it is not my style at all these days. I am hoping there is something I would be able to do, whether it be PLA the F away, or retake the class.

whats the subject of the course? try to see if you can find it in the list of TECEP and take the exam, if not try to see if there is a ECE exam or clep/dantes for that subject.

Can you withdrawal or is it too late for that? At least it wouldn't be an F.

It was a criminal justice policy class.... not sure about tests for it, and of course I couldn't get a human who knew anything about advisement.

I'm waiting for them to open, so I can try again.

Nope, can't withdraw... I was on extension, and they don't allow W's once that starts.

Sad

As far as what happens if you don't or can't complete all the work before your extension ends, I am getting mixed messages. If I could figure that out, maybe there would be a way around it. Well, will be anticipating a conversation with them later.

Well, in my opinion, aim for the "C" not the "A"
If you are stressed out about doing it perfectly, it may not get done. Turn in everything you can and complete anything worth the most points first. I wish you the best....now get that homework done!:p

I talked to them this morning about the whole thing, and they gave me a few options, all of which work in my favor. I just have to weigh them now and decide which one to go with.

I first talked to someone in admissions, because that's where you get routed to 99% of the time... and she was nice, but didn't know anything about what I could do, so she put me on the line with registration, and... yea... that lady was so incredibly nice and understanding! Whew!
