Right now, the BSBA's capstone is required but it can be taken as the Strategic Management TECEP (credit by exam) or transferred in from another college. Many people have used Penn Foster's Strategic Management course since it's ACE-approved and relatively cheap for a college course. After July 1st, no one knows yet if there will be any additional changes to the BSBA degrees. The BSBAs will have some of the gen ed changes as the other degrees, but will most likely keep the statistics and macro/micro requirements. The math requirement has been lowered from precalculus to college algebra.

Unless you want to work like crazy trying to finish in 6 months (actually you would have closer to a year and a few months to complete your degree) I would just relax and wait for the new requirements. It looks like you may have to re-think a test or two, but you should still have room in your degree plan to move a class or two around without much trouble. I am enrolling now, but I only have about 22 units left (mostly UL) so no room to move anything. I'd have to take extra classes.
It isn't looking like the changes will be that huge if you still have room to move stuff around. Hope this helps.

Wait, if I applied, got accepted, and paid my enrollment fee by July 1st, I would have to finish my remaining exams (14 + 6 FEMA) in 6 months? I might as well just forget about and live with the new Gen Ed requirements. I really want to graduate one year from now, though, so how can I do that?

No. If you just apply to lock in the old requirements, you have 6 months to enroll or you will have to apply again under the new requirements. TESC only holds applications and transcripts for 6 months. If you enroll before the 6 months are up, then you have locked in the old gen ed requirements for another year or however long you continuously pay your enrollment fee before graduating.

Per TESC response:
"In order to fall under the old general education
requirements, a student will have to be an accepted
student with the College before July 1, 2013. Upon acceptance
before July 1, the student will be put in Catalog Year 2013.
*Important: In order for the student to remain under Catalog year 2013 (and the old general education requirements), s/he must enroll with the College within the 6-month timeframe."
So you pretty much have 6 months before you need to enroll, once you enroll you have 12 months to complete your degree (unless you pay more for a few months of extension).

Awesome, I just paid the application fee earlier today, so I hope that I get accepted before July 1.

When I registered and paid the fee last month I received my acceptance email 8 calendar days later.

I just sent my application today so I could get accepted before the deadline, but I'm already second guessing it and wondering if the new requirements would suit me better. Would those accepted before July 1st, but not enrolled yet have the option of which set of requirements they fulfill? That's the way it used to work at my old university. You would be grandfathered for old requirements, but allowed to swap over to the new set.

I'm not sure about if you have a choice. All I know is you must submit an application and pay for it and have it approved by July 1st and after you receive the acceptance e-mail, you must pay your tuition within 6 months or you will loose the 2013 Catalog year status. I'm siding on that you may not be able to choose as it was not mentioned in the e-mail.
