I am considering enrolling in MAN-373 PLA to fill a space on my degree plan as I have 14 years of senior management work experience. However, I have never done a PLA before. Has anyone taken this that could give me an idea of what it required to complete?
Thanks!

I took a PLA course a few months ago which was more of my expertise (Intermediate TV Production). I would say it is dependent on who is assigned to be your mentor on the course and would most likely be like either the PLA I did at TESC or the ones I did at my CC, which all require a big paper and presentation of evidence related to the course. Depending on the mentor and what evidence you provide up front, you should expect a long paper to be the main portion of the assignment and the length and number of revisions would depend on how the mentor views your experience matching the content (and how well you are able to write).
You'll want to provide a good resume, evidence of your related experience or examples of work, and be able to address how you meet the objectives listed in the syllabus.
Under the worst case scenario that the mentor wants to spend all twelve weeks doing the course, here is the breakdown for PLA courses. In my case it took about three weeks and it was done (but that was a different course too). This is the recommended layout but I would guess unless the mentor is super busy you'd be able to finish quicker and probably with less submissions. I'm sure you'll do great on it.
