COSC_ 4 uppel level credits left
#1
Hello everyone,
I can now see the finish line for my BS at COSC. I am starting my capstone this semester and will need 4 more upper level credits. Does anyone know of any test I can take that would count for upper level credits. Would any of the NFA courses count as upper level?

I would like to thank everyone who post their success stories. By reading the other post, it kept me motivated to complete my degree. I applied to University of Florida to start a graduate certificate in death investigation and then go on to a M.S in Forensic Science.

There are a few DSST that count as UL at COSC.

I recommend the Substance Abuse Exam as being rather straightforward and pretty easy to prep for.

Here is the Master list of Exams, they show where exams land in regards to upper or lower level. http://www.charteroak.edu/Current/Academ...r-list.pdf

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I would recommend DSST Business Ethics and Society. IMO, easily doable exam with minimal study.

Also, maybe someone can confirm how COSC transfers/codes the TEEX online cybersecurity courses?

Update:

I finally crossed the finish line and completed my B.S. at COSC. I just submitted my graduation application for May. I would like to thank everyone for posting their journeys and success. It made me continue chipping away until I obtained my degree. I start a grad certificate at UF in forensic death investigations in the summer. Once I complete that, I will continue into the M.S. program in forensic science either at UF or at the University of New Haven. The reason I am considering UNH, is because they offer an internship which might be more helpful to obtaining a position in that field. Once again thank you all!

Sounds like a great plan....the UNH makes a lot of sense for exactly the reason you describe, but I sure like the UF brand, especially if your in Florida.
