I do suggest you send all of your current credits to TESC and pay the $75 for an unofficial academic evaluation. After that we should be able to plug in exams for most or all of your remaining requirements.
I'm not sure what I'd do without this forum!
I've already received an evaluation about a week 1/2 ago. I'll post it in another thread! Thank you all so much!

Random question. Say you chose the comprehensive tuition, and you just need 1 or 2 courses to get an Associate's, could you have that granted upon completion, while still churning through a bunch of other courses in order to get your bachelor's?

Yes, that's why I chose comprehensive tuition my first year. Keep in mind along with guided and online classes you can also include epack courses and teceps with the bucket of 36 credits. When using FinAid you are required to take 6 credits (GS and/or OL) each semester then you are able to add on the extra epack or teceps. If you do a search on tuition you will find this has already been discussed in detail.
Good luck!

So, I'm brand spanking new at all this. From what I read here, I should pay the 75 in tuition to get an estimate of what TESC will take then make a plan for what to clep from there? Does this work with a Nursing degree as well??

Welcome!
You can't enter nursing by distance through TESC.
⢠If you're already an RN, you can earn a
BSN or MSN, or another degree.
⢠If you have a bachelor's degree and meet
competitive admission requirements and are chosen for one of the 30 seats per year, you can take a
second-bachelor's BSN from TESC on the ground full-time in Trenton and Hopewell, NJ.
⢠If you're interested in earning a general associate's or bachelor's degree, you can plan to include prerequisites for nursing (and other health) programs within your plan.
There's a case to pay the application fee for an estimate, though it's probably not that hard to get a good sense of what TESC will take by looking at your transcripts (including military training records) and published material on TESC's website, and/or asking here.
