While researching historical data I happened upon this tidbit; thought I would share. Source: College Catalog 2006-2007
The number of TECEP exams available was awesome! The upper level credit exams amazed me; especially in the Social Sciences category. Too bad we lost this particular opportunity to earn credit. I remember in 2009 they had just pulled the last bunch, news on the grapevine said students were sharing info on tests. Sound familiar. :p
Also attached the PLA Standard Course listing.

They should at least bring back Principles of Finance since that's required for the business core, and the business degrees are popular.

Just registered for PF's Financial Management about thirty minutes ago. If I had known about this, I would have (maybe) taken the new Principles of Finance TECEP.

I had hoped this wouldn't cause confusion...this list is from 2006-2007. The Prin of Finance TECEP is no longer available. Forum members use the DSST exam or PF's financial management course. In my opinion, PF is much less labor intensive (open book & proctor no longer required). Uploading final exam began approx +/- yr after I took the course.
* Edit to Add: FIN-301-TE, along with ~70% of the exams, was pulled late 2009. The list in the 2010-2011 catalog is minimal (20). They've slowly brought many back, even some new, but it has never grown to the quantity I've seen available between 2004-mid 2009. Source: College Catalog Archives

Agreed. Although I am sure it would most likely be more difficult than the DSST exam. (shrugs)
