Does anyone know the TESC course equivalency for
Kaplan's LRC100: Documenting Your Experiences for College Credit? I am not interested in using it to help me do a portfolio, just wondering about how the credit is applied.
I did portfolios through Learning Counts and took the $125 class, which helped prepare me to do a portfolio but didn't earn credit. I'm guessing the Kaplan class would be transcribed as FEL-199 Special Topics Free Electives or FEL-199 Spec. Stud. in Selected Topics.

I just noticed this on the website for the first time:
"Registrants who enroll in the Kaplan Open College course LRC 100 before their first day as a first-time student of Kaplan University will be eligible for a no-cost portfolio evaluation provided they submit their portfolio within 10 weeks from course registration date. Portfolios submitted beyond 10 weeks from course registration date will be evaluated for a fee of $100.00. Students who submit a portfolio after completing their first term at Kaplan University will be required to pay a $1,500.00 fee for their portfolio evaluation. First-time students who do not meet this requirement and returning students will pay a $1,500.00 assessment fee when they submit their portfolio for evaluation. This fee is nonrefundable and not covered by financial aid. Contact your Assessment Specialist for the discount code when you are ready to submit your portfolio for evaluation."
Has anyone tried submitting a portfolio yet? I wonder if that means anyone can submit one, after registering for the LRC 100 course, or if it means you have to register for other classes and submit a portfolio before the start?
