Hi there,
I am curious about these course requirements for the ASBA:
- Ethics Course
- Diversity Course
- Ethics or Diversity Elective
- Intellectual and practical skills
For the ethics course requirement, will the Business Ethics DSST be acceptable?
For the diversity course requirement, will the Introduction to World Religions DSST be acceptable?
For the ethics or diversity elective requirement, will the Art of the Western World DSST be acceptable?
For the electives in intellectual and practical skills requirement, will the Technical Writing DSST be acceptable?
Thanks,
- Bo

Thanks for the link.
I'm trying to determine if one of these DSSTs will be considered an ethics/diversity elective. Does anyone know?
- Art of the Western World
- Human Resource Management
- Money and Banking
- Civil War and Reconstruction
- Environment and Humanity: Race to save the planet
- Principles of Supervision
Thanks,
- Bo

Are you trying to see if a test you've already taken will be counted? If not, then it would be easier to just take an obvious test. Business Ethics and Society will probably count as PHI 384. A diversity course needs to take a look at other cultures. Western culture will more than likely not count. Civil War and Reconstruction probably won't count either. All of the courses recommended in this area by TESC fall into the categories of social science and humanities. I don't think the business courses will work. Money and Banking is not a diversity or ethics course either.

I'm using the Business ethics DSST for an ethics credit.

That's good you got an answer. Hopefully, it was the right answer and didn't come from the same advisor who told another member that CC courses can't be used in the area of study.
