TESC - Closed Course?
#1
I tried to register for a Liberal Arts Capstone today, and all 6 of them had maxed members already. Is there anything I can do to get in one of them? It isn't even late registration yet? Also, if I have reward money from a Pell Grant for April, can I use it for a class starting in May?

Call the registrar (or the registration office), they have in the past been very helpful to others in putting people into an already full course. Full isn't really full all the time, give it a try on Monday.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

To use a Pell Grant for May that was originally for April, you will need to call the financial aid office and ask them to change the month it is for. I had to do this and TESC changed it right away.

Precisely! Exactly what cooperalex said!

I had first hand experience with this. The class I wanted to take (w/ the mentor) was already full and "maxed out". TESC's advisement recommended I call the register, and it was no problem getting me in.
