TESC Enrollment Question

So I applied to TESC for a BA in Liberal Studies in December 2014 (10 months ago).
Their academic evaluation showed me that I needed to complete 21 credits (excluding the capstone).

So since then, I've been randomly getting those credits. I now have only 6 more.

But the problem is, if I don't enroll by December (less than 2 months from now), my academic evaluation is no longer applicable. It will be subject to the new 2015-16 catalog which will then require me to take 9 more credits (for info literacy and etc).

But I can't register for LIB-495 (capstone) until I finish all 117 credits - and I'm going to get the other 6 through Straighterline in the next couple months.

So my question is:
Can I ENROLL just so I can KEEP the 2014-15 Catalog evaluated credits (so I only have 9 credits to go instead of 18) and just NOT register for LIB-495 until I'm ready?
Or do I have to register for a class once I enroll? Basically, can I just be enrolled without taking a class for a few months?

register for a tecep. It will cost around $100 and will keep you enrolled.

I was able to postpone the deadline by enrolling under the per-credit tuition plan and registering for the operations management TECEP, then switching to the enrolled options plan a month later. My problem was I couldn't come up with the money fast enough to make the original deadline and needed to postpone it for a month, TESC allows you to switch your enrollment plan within 90 days of the initial enrollment.

Register quickly before the enrollment deadline passes. I would suggest a TECEP that applies to your degree if you can find one instead of the SL courses you were going to take.

I called TESC and they said I could pay the annual enrollment fee by November and I'll be able to retain my original academic evaluated credits within the catalog year I applied for last year.
I don't need to register or take any courses within a certain time after enrolling - I just have to be enrolled to save the 2014/15 catalog year requirements.
However, I WILL have to complete the capstone before the end of the enrollment anniversary - otherwise I'll have to pay another annual enrollment tuition next November if I don't finish the capstone by then.
I fully intend to take the capstone as soon as I'm done with the SL courses which should be in Jan 2016. Then I'll take LIB-495 in February - finish by May - graduate by June-ish. Boom! Thanks guys!

Only problem: the enrollment fee is $1767 for NJ/$3296 for out-of-state vs. a TECEP is $111. You're better off taking an easy TECEP than paying the enrollment fee. Unless you have a lot of extra cash lying around...

Exactly. Just switch temporarily from enrolled to Per Credit, then register for a TECEP. When you apply to graduate, you can switch back to enrolled and pay the 1767/3296 fee.

I did this using the MDCP which predated the Per Credit plan, but works in the same way. I switched last minute, paid the enrollment fee and graduated.

If you want to pay the enrollment fee now you can, you should be good for a year I think, but you need to not lolly-gag and complete the last few credits timely. Either way, it get's you the cap and gown.

I'm trying to take my remaining 7 TECEPS with TESC although today when I went to register for them I was told my the CSR that you can only do 15 credits worth of TECEPs. I'm waiting to speak with an adviser but does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?
