TESC Degree Certification Letter

Who else received their certification letter for the Sept TESC degree conferral? Mine was certified on the 14th of June and now it is yet again a waiting game. At least I have something on paper now though.

My son's last credits required to complete his degree were received by TESC on 5/26. He applied for graduation on 6/4. They sent a receipt for the graduation fee. We alerted TESC about the transcript, and of course it has not been updated despite two requests. Do we patiently wait, send in yet another request or ????

I would wait somewhat patiently. They were on the ball with everything for me from getting in the last few transcripts (CLEP & ACE) and pushing through my stuff for graduation.

I was able to speed mine up because of special circumstances. Normally it takes 6-8 weeks after all transcripts are received. If you don't see his transcript updated by next Monday you might just send an e-mail inquiring as to the status.

I applied for graduation but still waiting for my letter.

I completed all my degree requirements but still waiting for TESC to receive and update 2 DSSTs and one ACE transcript. Not sure if they will approve my graduation application and I'm kind of scared that they will not update everything by July 1.

Guess I'll keep hoping and waiting....

Tester: Did you let advising know you were taking those tests? How about the Registrar that they were arriving?

After I successfully completed my 2 cleps, I sent a Help ticket to advising to let them know I took the Cleps, and was awaiting for TESC to receive the scores. I marked it High Priority, got a response within 2 hours, and they and my evaluation updated indicating both classes were pending.
I then sent a ticket to the Registrar inquiring about the proper sequence for submitting the graduation packet, indicating I was awaiting my CLEP scores to arrive (I also gave my scores so they would know I had passed), and wanted to ensure I proceeded correctly in order to meet the July 1 deadline.
I also had this marked HIGH priority....response within 2-3 hours....they told me to submit ASAP, gave the timeline and skinny on what happens when the CLEP scores arrive...they also informed the Bursars office so they would be aware of the 2 scores coming in needed processing in a timely matter.

I had already email the Bursar inquiring of the same info before the Registrar had sent the info.

My final CLEP transcript showed up today (6/22) as being received on 6/15. I quickly cross-referenced my eval just for ha-ha's...and both my classes were updated as COMPLETED. Possibly on of the quickest updates ever to an evaluation! :-)

According to the transcript received info, it took TESC almost a week or so to post as received after they actually got it. I took my CLEPs on 5/27 which showed as updated on 6/17 but received on 6/7. I took the other on 6/3....showed up as updated on 6/22 but received on 6/15.

Now, I await confirmation for graduation...I received the email and letter in the mail indicating they had received my application and $$ for graduation.

Hope this info helps you and others that are staring at that July 1 deadline.
