Ok, so I sent this email to TESC this past Monday. It took them till Friday to answer it with no answer at all:
To Whom It May Concern:
I am very seriously considering applying to TESC to finish my Bachelor's degree. I have been recently reading on your TECEP exams, and have a question.
According to your Marketing page (Thomas Edison State College: Marketing), your Advertising, Public Relations: Thought and Practice, and Marketing Management Strategy courses have examinations toward them. However, those courses do not show TECEP exams on your website's page for the TECEP (Thomas Edison State College: Course Offerings). Do these courses have examinations in order to pass out of them? This has caused some confusion on my side since i would like to concentrate in the Marketing emphasis of the Business Administration major.
Please let me know.
Thanks!
TESC got back to me and just sent a template about their TECEP exams. They never answered why those 3 classes above are said to have TESC examinations but are not on the TECEP webpage. Has anyone here finished from TESC with a degree in Marketing who can assist me?

Are we looking at the same TECEP page? Under the section heading "Humanities," I see
Public Relations Thought & Practice (COM-210-TE)
and under "Business and Management,"
Marketing Communications (MAR-321-TE)
Sales Management (MAR-322-TE)
Advertising (MAR-323-TE)
That said, on the BSBA Marketing page they do list "Marketing Management Strategy" as having a TECEP exam, and that title isn't listed among the TECEPs. So they seem to have four of the TECEPs mentioned on the BSBA Marketing page, but no "Marketing Management Strategy."

I don't know if this is a help or not.
Interesting, this course is not listed in the 2012-2013 catalog, but it shows up in older catalogs.

I have found that sometimes TESC does not update the courses/tests listed on the degree descriptions. Always check the course/TECEP listing for the updated information. It appears that TESC used to have Marketing Management Strategy as a TECEP, but no longer does. As fm101 mentioned, TESC does have Public Relations: Thought and Practice, Advertising, Marketing Communications, and Sales Management; all of which should work for your degree program.
