Question for COSC graduates - degree conferral date falls on weekend?
#1
Yes, I'm impatient and this is a silly question but my degree is to be conferred on August 31 according to COSC's conferral calendar. I am of course waiting to order a transcript with the conferral date on it to send to my graduate school to finalize my acceptance. What are they chances they confer my degree on Sunday?:p

I assume I'll have to wait until Monday or longer? I wanted to ask any previous COSC graduates if their conferral date showed up on the transcript on the date the degree is supposed to be conferred or did you have to wait much longer than that?
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Road traveled: AA (2013) > BS (2014) > MS (2016) > Doctorate (2024)

I continuously checked my unofficial transcript, and it showed up on the day it was supposed to, which was on New Years Eve. It didn't take long.

Well August 31 is about to come and go and I just checked - nothing.

Possibly because it's a holiday weekend. However, I'm sure if you went ahead and ordered transcripts, they wouldn't be sent until after the degree was conferred.
