TESC ASNSM in Computer Science Credit Distribution
#1
I recently registered to Thomas Edison and currently looking to sign up for classes, but I am confused on how to know what classes fall into which category.

For example, the humanities 6 credit requirement. Where can I find a list of approved classes for humanities? Are the only classes that fall into the category humanities 1 and 2 courses? please explain.

I have the same question for B. Theory Area Courses & C. Computer Science Electives. Are the courses underneath both categories the only approved classes?

No, you can get others approved, or others have already been approved, especially some CIS courses, e.g., Systems Analysis and MIS´.

To get an idea of which courses/tests would qualify as Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, check out this link and scroll down to the CLEP tests section:

Also this post is very helpful for understanding how to create the Gen Ed section of a degree plan:

<blush>

One thing about that thread, I can't edit it though- so some info isn't current. For instance, I say that TESC allowed >200 as upper level, but that has since changed. Oh well, it's a start anyway.
