TERRIBLE experience with ProctorU!!

You running into a bug one time doesn't change how their system is designed to function. Misrepresenting the glitch you experienced as indicative of normal behavior, as you did, is dishonest.

I was just trying to get info out to some people who also may have (or had) a bad experience with ProctorU, and TESU being helpful about fixing the issues. I'm also happy to report that ProctorU has been responsive so far, and wants to talk to me in person about my experiences (there has been additional issues since this one that I reported as well). I'll continue to update with info, with the hope that someone may find it helpful to their own situation.

I think you should count your lucky stars that TESU is letting you extend when you can take the exam. I missed an exam over the summer from being so sick that I literally mixing up my exam date. I had been home sick from work and just miserable. TESU wouldn't extend for me nor would ProctorU. I was specifically told they COULDN'T extend, so I had to pay the $111 again.

Second, I took another TECEP exam on Sunday and have to say it was the best experience I've had with ProctorU. I registered the day before the exam, and it only took about 3-5 minutes to go through the wait time and verification once I logged in. Previously I registered pretty far in advance and often had to wait an hour or more for a proctor.

Update:

I spoke with a manager today, she is specifically in charge of phones and live-chats. We had spent a few days of back and forth emailing, complete with my sending her the transcripts of the chats I had the last few times I've had to talk to someone at ProctorU.

She was very nice, and extremely responsive. She completely understood where I was coming from, and thanked me for getting in touch with her and working with her to get some of these issues resolved.

Now, on to upper management, and the U-Card authentication process, and then the length of time you wait to get to a proctor...

I had a similar situation and had to reschedule the exam. They need some structural and organizational improvement
