It appears as if the Cyber101/201/301 umbrellas are NOT the way to go anymore, that you get more credit pursuing each class individually. If you complete all 11 courses and submit as an umbrella class (Cyber101/201/301) you'll get 10 credits. If, instead, you do all 11 courses and submit them to your ACE transcript individually (NOT asking for credit in the umbrella classes) you'll get 12 credits - 2 more credits for doing the EXACT SAME WORK.
Now, the million dollar question. The exclusion clause "you can't get credit for [this] if you already have credit in [umbrella course]" is specifically dated after 12/2018. In addition, the individual courses are all worth credit starting on 12/18..... so...... for those people who completed the umbrella courses and already have them on their ACE transcript, I wonder what the odds are of adding new individual courses? They are currently different things. Might be worth trying.... Unfortunately, you don't get 2 extra credits for submitting individually.
1 of the credits is in the vocational category instead of LL/associates category, so probably won't count for most people.
Awr 138 AND awr 139 are worth 1 credit total if you complete them both.
So together it adds up to 10 credits plus 1 vocational credit. What you DO get is a single UL credit if you submit individually.
(note I kept saying 11, but there are only 10 courses- not sure why I keep saying 11)
Thanks for helping me sort that out!

I looked at this closely last night, because my son needs at least 3 credit hours in computer literacy. He enrolled in AWR 168, White Collar Crime yesterday. I think I am going to suggest he do the 3 classes and submit them under the umbrella of Cyber 101 because he specifically needs a computer class and I am afraid that individually the White Collar Crime and Cyber Ethics may come in as something else.

In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 4 semester hours in cybersecurity. Students must complete TEEX-0277, TEEX-0278, and TEEX-0279 to receive credit for this course.
-AWR 168: In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in cyber law, cyber criminology, or cybercrime and digital law. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0277 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0250.
-AWR 174:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in information security and the Internet, digital literacy and online ethics, or introduction to cyber ethics. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0278 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0250.
-AWR 175:
In the vocational category, 1 semester hour in information security for everyone. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0279 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0250.
So going forward it would make sense to only take AWR 168 and 174 and then request credit for them instead of taking 175 and requesting credit for cyber 101.
Cyber 201:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in introduction to computer security, digital forensics, or incident response. Students must complete TEEX-0280, TEEX-0281, TEEX-0282, and TEEX-0283 to receive credit for this course.
AWR 138:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in introduction to network security or network defense. TEEX-0280 Network Assurance and TEEX-0281 Digital Forensics Basics must both be successfully completed to earn 1 semester hour in the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category in introduction to network security or network defense. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0280 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0251.
- AWR 139:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in introduction to network security or network defense. TEEX-0280 Network Assurance and TEEX-0281 Digital Forensics Basics must both be successfully completed to earn 1 semester hour in the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category in introduction to network security or network defense. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0281 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0251.
- AWR: 173:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in introduction to information security. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0282 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0251.
- AWR 178:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in introduction to information security. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0283 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0251.
Previous post was too long so i separated them:
Cyber 301: In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in introduction to computer security, business, or public management. Students must complete TEEX-0284, TEEX-0285, and TEEX-0286 to receive credit for this course.
-AWR 169:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in introduction to information security, business, or risk management. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0284 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0252.
-AWR 176:
In the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in disaster preparedness or introduction to information security. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0285 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0252.
-AWR 177: In the upper-division baccalaureate degree category, 1 semester hour in business, information risk management, or introduction to information security. Students who request a credit recommendation for TEEX-0286 cannot receive a credit recommendation for TEEX-0252.
Thanks for including these details, MNomadic.

Yes, you are understanding correctly! Unless you have already gotten credit for Cyber 301, which this class is included in. You can either get credit for the individual classes or the group of classes(Cyber 101,201,301) but not both.
