I had Eng Comp I and II already and thought it was easy. The exam guide almost tells you exactly what is on it. Don't get to worried about "the topic will be provided".

I rented a textbook from Amazon and the only part I read has the chapter on visual aids.

I took it and thought it was easy as well. I got a Technical Writing handbook from the library, and skimmed a couple of sections. But I didn't really need it at all. I did not study for it for more than 5 minutes.

They are saying it no longer applies for general education classes? Where were you guys able to apply it to?

who is "they?" and what ARE "they" saying it comes in as? How comes in will determine where it applies to. Not sure if you mean TESU, but they are still showing it as a general education course (ENG201). https://www.tesu.edu/academics/catalog/D...g/DSST.cfm

You need to give more info.  Who said this to you?

There is an interesting development - it is no longer listed as meeting the Info Lit requirement.  But it is still a Gen Ed course.  https://www.tesu.edu/academics/courses/2...After2.cfm

So it no longer applying to Info Lit and no longer applying to Gen Ed is completely different.  It IS a Gen Ed course.

it will only be accepted as a general electives, per academic advising. they said this change was made this july 2017 to remove it from info lit but I asked them if I am already enrolled does this lock me into the course catalog before the change?
