TECEP PSY-270 Psychology of Women confirmed as a PSR elective

Hello Forum Members:

I already posted on another thread discussing use of this exam, but also wanted to follow up with a dedicated thread to confirm TECEP exam PSY-270 Psychology of Women will fill a PSR requirement.

If you would like to use the exam and TESC has not updated the general education list, send a helpdesk ticket to Advising requesting they send an appeal to the General Education Committee to ask for approval in using the exam as a diversity elective. Let them know it has been used by prior students. Cut and paste the following written confirmation, received 9-2014, and include in email. Good luck!

Confirmation:

"Hello xxxxx,

The General Education Committee has approved PSY-270 to fulfill the Personal and Social Responsibility requirement in your degree. You may register for it whenever you are ready."

In the same vein, we have had a few people here who have had the TECEP Environmental Ethics confirmed by TESC as fulfilling the Ethics requirement. Oh, and the TECEP Marriage and the Family fulfills the PSR requirement as well.
