Hi,
I took the Business in Society TECEP (through ProctorU) on the 19th. My Academic Evaluation already has a "CR" indicating that I passed the TECEP - or so I thought...The testing center says that the essay portion is still being graded...does that mean I may not have passed it after all? Does anyone have experience with online TECEPs grading process?
I was so excited that I passed, but am thinking that maybe there is still a possibility that I didn't. GAH!!
Thanks in advance!

Just an update in case anyone else is new to the online TECEPs too. I just heard from TESC this morning with my number score of the TECEP. I did indeed pass! So I guess the online process definitely is a lot quicker with grading turn-around time. So I took the exam the 19th, by the 21st "CR" was listed on my academic evaluation, and today I received the actual number score. (the last TECEP I took was a paper exam and it took 3 weeks for the results to post).
I am so relieved. One down, two more to go and I am DONE!
Good luck to everyone!

How did you prepare for your TECEP exams? I am scheduled for 3 in the April 2014 session. This will be my last couple of classes.

Mzjayw, I bought the recommended Carroll and Buchholtz text (I got the 6th edition). I have a hard time just sitting down and reading a text from cover to cover so I went through the test description from TESC's website and mapped out which chapters were higher priorities than others (for example the test description indicated that 35% of the exam covered External Stakeholders whereas Internal Stakeholders was only 10%, so I spent more time in the External Stakeholders chapters). I skipped the case studies all together. I took loads of notes to help keep my mind from wandering as I read. I studied over the course of 2 weeks. That was about it. I found it tough because of the short answers and essays. I think if it was all multiple choice I would have found it a little easier.
I have the Strategic Management (Friday) and the Network Technology TECEPs (April) left. (YAY!!)
Are you doing online TECEPs or paper TECEPs? Best of luck to you, you are in the home stretch!! =)

I am taking them online, I really do not want to risk the wait with the paper exam. The online exam posts a lot quicker to your transcript. I need my graduation form in by July 1, I believe. But I am applying way sooner. As soon as I am finished my couple of StraighterLine courses.

I wish you the best of luck on your remaining exams. The online TECEPs *definitely* posted faster than the paper exams!
