Swallowing my pride
#1
In another thread, I discussed how angry I was about having to pay the $100 fee to reapply to WGU.

I've been researching a LOT of masters degree programs (as can be seen from many of my recently started threads). I was even accepted into the Capella Flexpath MBA (but I withdrew my application the day before class was to start).

Even though I was angry, I've finally decided to return to WGU. It's a great school, even though some of the policies are garbage...

rebel100, thanks for your voice of reason in the other thread. You helped put it in perspective for me.

I think you'll be happy with the decision!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I agree. The closer I got to starting the first course, the more and more I felt like it was a bad idea.

Are you going to do the healthcare management concentration?

I'm seriously considering it, but I haven't decided. It seems like a very good option, and even if I don't get a job in healthcare management after graduation, I would still have an MBA. I'm going to discuss it further with my enrollment adviser tomorrow.

Ugh, I deal with joint commission compliance at work no freaking way I was going to write a course on it for my MBA. I selected the general management and strategy track.

Oh yes, I fully intend to. I'll probably start a thread and update it throughout the program, as rebel100 did.
